Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani
Italian pianist Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani is the Grand Prize winner of the Royal Maas International Competition
Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani was born in Macerata on 05/04/2017 and attends the first grade of the Primary School. His first approach to music occurred in 2020, during lockdown, when, together with his mother Alessia, a graduate in opera singing from the Pescara Conservatory of Music, he began to take his first steps on the keyboard, through small musical games and ditties. Little by little, remarkable aptitudes emerged, supported by a keen absolute ear already evident at the age of 3, and he recorded important progress, which within a short time, in 2021, led him to face international online piano competitions by age categories, receiving his first excellent results. To date, still under his mother’s guidance, Alberto has collected as many as 42 first prizes, many of them absolute, in national and international competitions, online and in presence.
A video of him performing Mozart’s Sonata k 545 at a piano competition garnered millions of views, also arousing great resonance in the international press.
As a piccolo pianist, including as a soloist with orchestra, he has participated in various cultural and charity events, musical events and festivals (Liszt Festival – Grottammare, Civitanova Classica, Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan, Real Conservatorio de Madrid, Sala Brahms of the Musikverein in Vienna), as well as television broadcasts on local and national networks (Rai – Canale 5).
He recently received the “Music Prize” at the prestigious “XXI Giuseppe Sciacca Prize,” whose solemn ceremony was held in the Vatican at the Pontifical Urbanian University.
